Validator Registration & Voting Key

  • To become a validator, you must stake 40,000 BOA.

  • For details, see the Validator Guide.

  • Use agora-key-gen to generate keys.

  • Two files are created:

    • keystore-...: Validator key for validation

    • voter-keystore-...: Voting key for Votera (Ethereum Keystore V3)

  • The voting key can be imported into Metamask for use in Votera.

  • If the file cannot be found, regenerate it using the mnemonic from validator key creation.
